Can anyone ever have too many tacos? I don’t think so. This taco indulgence was completely justified, especially since we actually got these tacos for free! We visited North West—not Kimye’s baby, but the real estate company—to check out condos, and they were randomly handing out free tacos to everyone who stopped by. The food truck was parked right in front of their showroom, and when we went inside, we received three vouchers for free tacos each, which absolutely made my day! I have to say, North West’s marketing strategy is spot on—food really is the way to a consumer’s heart. Even though we had already eaten lunch, there’s always room for more tacos. I mean, what sane person would say no to tacos?!

Feastro has been coming near my workplace almost every weekday (Monday, Tuesday, and sometimes Thursday and Friday) for the past two months, and it's starting to get repetitive. Who wants pulled pork and fish tacos four times a week? I'd love to see some variety with other food trucks coming around. I've actually started to avoid them. Feastro, if you limit yourself to just one day a week like a typical food truck, I might give you another chance, but for now, you're not doing it for me.

I’m excited for tomorrow when the candy goes on sale! I’ve noticed Feastro the Rolling Bistro truck around Coal Harbour and finally decided to give it a try. Their dirty fries really stood out to me. Feastro offers tacos, sandwiches, and a few sides. They display the daily soup and special on a chalkboard on the side of the truck. I’ve spotted them near the Olympic Cauldron before, but now they’ve moved to the corner of Burrard and Pender.
