Your sense of touch, taste, smell, and hearing are heightened without your ability to see. We had debates over some of the ingredients in our meal, because without sight the taste of some things seemed different.We all lived the experience and will go back. In fact we will take our kids and perhaps they will enjoy eating what they can't see so much that they actually eat everything heehee

The restaurant in Vancouver is simple on the outside, no fancy advertising and you'd easily walk past it. We had booked a table, and we met by the waiting team at the door - shown to a patio where we was given menus and our order was taken.The Started and pudding is a surprise, but you choose your main and drinks. I had Beef Tenderloin with seasonal vegetable. After a short while, we was introduced to out waitress - who was extremely pleasant and told us exactly what to do. The purpose behind this restaurant it to see life from another perspective. You eat in the dark - complete darkness and the table staff are blind. You cannot see your food, table, guest - anything! And it was amazing.The stater was a cold plate of veg, salad and balsamic glazes, absolutely beautiful and really tasted the difference between flavours. Main, the beef, was already cut into bite size chunks for us - but it was guess work where it was on the plate. Pudding was a lemon cheesecake - again, I think because we couldn't see the food it made it more flavoursome. Our waitress knew where everything was on the table, exactly where we were and delivered everything perfectly. This place was simply fantastic, and if I could give it 6 stars, I would.

You are served by visually impaired persons. The food was delicious and enough to fill you up. I highly recommend this place. ?
