COBS Fresh Bread - Vancouver

We just tried the garlic/Cheddar Baquette and it's great. Apparently it is a new product and we really enjoyed it. Don't stop it. Excellent. All jaws are excellent and fresh and the staff is very accommodating.

Desperate for a breakfast while staying at a hotel without breakfast we fell into the Cobs Fresh Bread in North Vancouver. We sampled a fruit scone and a sticky bun to return later to their stores in Vancouver for morning and afternoon pastries. Their scones were large, moist and about half the price of Starbucks! Baking is done on site at each store with bags of flour stacked and bakers visible in the back. The breads are varied and reasonably priced. Great for picnics on the road WE looked for their stores as we traveled British Columbia Yes there is one on Victoria. .

We visited twice. The second time the same person who waited on us the first time was hell bent on giving us his opinion of our country and our President. AWKWARD. We just wanted some pastry and bread items. Would not recommend.

The scent of fresh bread brought us into what a large selection and samples to boot! The bilberry lemon peels were moist, but the cinnamon rolls were amazing! Good and yeasty, without being excessively wide. We came back twice during our visit!

This is a good place to get a quick breakfast to thank your hosts. A good selection of cheap, freshly baked treats that guarantee you an invitation for a repetition visit.
