Apparently they are permanently closed as of Oct 1, 2022??? I was around the corner at the convention center for an event and wandered over for a late lunch. I ordered the chikum truffle sandwich just under the line before they closed around 3. Also got some Brussels. The sandwich was delicious, saucey and the bread was phenomenal and crusty. Kind of amazed I got in just under the wire apparently and hope for all Vancouver that this is a break and not forever. (Imo they deserve their own kitchen!!!
Absolutely delicious sandwiches. Got the apple Brie and salmon sandwiches. Both were amazing. Superb vegan cheese. (FYI For pickup or delivery only. Located in Crème de la Crumb in Granville Square.
All and all good. This ghost kitchen works out of another (non restaurant’s space and it’s pretty smooth. Full of joy and good sandwiches. The ham and cheese is my personal least fav all the others are rich! Dine in the partner restaurant or seat outdoors on the Coal Harbor patio. You have to order online and use pick up or delivery. Heads up yesterday I ordered at 2p and the goodies weren’t ready for pick up until after 3p (they close at 3p , so that was a very long wait for the sandwiches. Just a heads up that it can move a little slower here but the quality is great.
Decided to check out Torn one evening, and we were blown away by just how incredible these sandwiches are! We opted for 2 halves the Chick’n Truffle Mayo and the Apple Bree. SO much care and attention were put into these… the taste was amazing and the bread fresh and crispy. The owner was delightful and spent some time chatting just an overall fantastic experience and I’d encourage everyone to check it out! Just note the hours that they’re open since they do operate on a kitchen share schedule at the moment.
I was fortunate to discover a vegan option near my hotel. I tried the Apple Bree sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic. It had one of the best vegan cheeses I've ever tasted. The flavor combination was exceptional. And the bread! Oh, the baguette was simply delicious. I'm very grateful for the willingness to accommodate my walk-in without a reservation. Thank you so much!
