I've heard of Chomp for a while now and finally got a chance to grab a quick bite.
This is a great little vegan place. Menu is salads, wraps and a few main dishes. The curry potato wrap was excellent and the white bean burger sliders were tasty on a potato roll. They share a storefront with Fairy Cakes, a vegan bakery which also has gluten free items. Lots of cupcakes - all cakes are chocolate or vanilla, but a variety of about 8 different frosting flavors. Cupcakes were tasty. Chocolate chip and chocolate chip marshmallow cookies were good, but not great. Bakery counter was busy - a number of people came in to get cupcakes while we ate dinner.Seating is limited. Only 3 tables and a total of 7 seats inside. A couple of small tables outside.
As a vegetarian celiac it's difficult to eat out. Finding a restaurant with two dishes to choose from is unusual, discovering a whole restaurant that is gluten-free and vegan is beyond exciting! Chomp is a small premises offering a tasty, varied & enticing menu of salads, wraps, main courses & desserts. Service is knowledgeable, prompt, helpful & cheerful. Prices are very reasonable.They also offer catering, a home meal delivery service and special order cakes.chompveganeatery.com
