The place from Vancouver offers 47 different menus and drinks on the menu for an average price of CA$8.
Chickpea Food Truck has gained both loyal followers and disappointed customers with its Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian dishes. While some patrons have raved about the fresh and delicious falafel and cauliflower plates, others have been left underwhelmed by dishes like oily eggplant and lackluster hummus. Despite mixed reviews, the food truck has been widely recognized for its flavorful offerings, quick and friendly service, and good value for money. The popularity of Chickpea Food Truck has led to the opening of a brick-and-mortar restaurant on Main Street, which offers an expanded menu with share platters, creative individual offerings, and mouthwatering falafel. Whether you're a dedicated fan or trying it for the first time, Chickpea invites you to experience their unique take on Mediterranean cuisine that will leave your taste buds satisfied.

Was Joel K at Chickpea a mag?
We went to an event at the Van Dusen Garden to hear the Vancouver Chamber Orchestra of the Vancouver Symphony. It was a great evening. Chickpea Food Truck was at the event. My wife and I ordered 2 plates and shared them. We got the falafel and the cauliflower plates. Both very tasty and delicious. The food was fresh and scratch made except for the salad. We sat on a park bench and reveled in the garden and the guest... View all feedback.
What Samantha Bruin dislikes about Chickpea:
Got takeout from Chickpea the other night. Got the falafel pita with a side of crispy cauliflower. Huge portions, but everything lacked flavour and spices honestly, it was bland! The cauliflower was just deep fried and did not come with any sauce or spices. I prefer Meet on Main for vegan/veg food. View all feedback.
Came here on a Thursday around 5:30Not really busy so we ordered a few chickpea fries (Fresh and Kasum) to start.
The presentation and appearance of the food is awesomeI think dining-in for that purpose is the way to go more than takeout in my opinion.
Chickpea started with a Food Truck..but it was so delicious that they realized they needed a larger space. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has large front glass windows so you feel you are sitting out on a patio ....There is a great vibe...everyone is chatting and the place feels happy...The food is Mediterranean but served with a difference. There are share platters, there are individual offerings, pita breads, salads and everything is so delicious. The place is vegetarian but you don't even miss the meat...there is so much to choose and lots of protein too. If you like falafel, this is the place to come to....not dry and crumbly, best falafel everrrr. Go and have fun...your tastebuds will thank you.
