We had an unreal dining experience here for my sister's birthday. We love Tapas and everything we ordered was unreal. The service was great and the drinks were amazing. Definitely would recommend checking this place out and we will definitely be returning soon. View all feedback.
What Toojaysquared doesn't like about Bodega:
Had friends in town who wanted to check this out. It wasn’t terrible it just wasn’t great. The room was great. The food let it down but my friend ordered and maybe some different selections would have been better. Service was functional. We had been to a Spanish tapas place in Montreal last month which was amazing. Our “average” rating partially is due to that comparison. It could be so much better. View all feedback.
Use to go to their old La Bodega DT, food is still amazing if not better.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and very warm decorThe only thing that could work better is the food.
Later evening visit (around 10 pm) - some late evening tapas.
I used to go to Botega on Seymore in downtown but this is a first time for me to try new Botega on Main.It was my friend's birthday get-together and the birthday girl wanted to have her party in here.Food was really tasty! Portion was good, and good pricing. When we got there, they had still happy hour going on, so we could order a couple of menu with discounted price! My favorite were Squid ink Paella, Ceviche and Red pepper Goat cheese with Balsamic sauce. Everything was delicious!!The only regrettable thing was the waitress was not so attentive...it was busy night and I understand how it is to run a busy restaurant but I wish they were a bit friendlier.Out of 5 stars; Food: 4.5Service: 3Portion: 4.5Food presentation: 4.5Ambience: 4Pricing: 4.5Total: 4.1
Based on bartender recommendation from another restaurant, we stopped by in the mid aft on a Monday (so obviously not crowded or loud.) That allowed us to judge the place on food and drinks alone...and the four of us agreed it was one of our faves in Vancouver. The piquillos rellanos, champinones (mushrooms,) grilled octopus and rosemary lamb were outstanding. The grilled Spanish chorizo, grilled pork loin
