His influence on the dining... read more We were deeply saddened to learn that Bishop's will be closing. It has been our favorite restaurant since John first opened in 1985. His influence on the dining scene in Vancouver, and on everyone in the industry, cannot be overstated. The staff, both present and past, have always been outstanding. Our final evening at Bishop's was a mix of emotions. The food and service were as exceptional as ever, and John was the perfect host. Saying goodbye was hard, so we didn't. We'll just have to wait until next time, somewhere else...
