we love jake! it's so nice to have a place to go. they have a fabulous happy hour menu, all I have tried is very tasty (the spinat artichoke have to dive, sooo good!) the service is friendly, the music is good, just a fun place to be. they also have lunch and dinner. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jake's Grill:
We ordered the sliders and it took quite some time to come. The sliders were dry and undercooked. I prefer my meat well done and these were not. The tots were overcooked and had a somewhat burnt flavor. I would recommend you avoid the food here. It's overpriced and not good enough to justify the cost. Her londoner is so good! it is close to a French dips, but with cheese. it is good both hot and cold. the Au-Jus sauce was on site. I was here twice in a week! there is a counter for families and for bar-patrons.
Katelyn was our server and she was great! She had amazing energy and was super sweet! Food drinks were great and I love the old school charm to the restaurant is definitely a place you dress up for. Would definitely recommend!
I had read some reviews about this place and finally had a chance to try the Rueben. It was really good. The pool tables are nice. Service was fast and friendly, thanks Mackenzie! This is the cleanest bar that I have been to in Vancouver.
Nice little neighborhood bar. The burgers are delicious, but some sandwiches and wraps are sometimes questionable. The staff was very kind and helpful and the food came out quick! Over all it was a good experience and we definitely will be returning!
Great atmosphere. Friendly vibe. Excellent food. We walked right in sat ourselves. Within a few moments we had three frosty beverages. We started off with the steak bites. They were delivered to our table hot and ready with a side of horse radish and a baked potato. SO GOOD!! As my main dish, I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger, I went with this law rather than the fries (great choice). My son ordered the baby Jake Burger. (The one with ham and egg). He loved it! My wife ordered The chicken club. She was also very pleased. Overall the experience was well worth the well priced and affordable menu. This place is one we will visit again and again.
