I had a fantastic dining experience. I've been to this restaurant before, so I had a few questions. I didn’t catch the host’s name, but he approached me in a way that made me feel like my questions were an inconvenience, and he seemed in a hurry to leave. However, I’m grateful for the lovely waitress and the incredible food, which was more than enough to satisfy my appetite. Overall, everything was great except for t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Golden Tent Mongolian Bbq:
Very good food. The service isn’t great. The cooks are kinda rude. Bad management with limited waiters working their hardest. The food is decent as I said but long waits. View all feedback.
We had a little wait, maybe 10 minutes, but were seated, tended to, and sent off to create our dishes. If you are used to Changs Mongolian Grill, this place is the equivalent. We had great food and a lot of fun, the kids were full when we left, and the service, short of having to ask for sauce and s&p, we were taken care of. Now, being as this is my favorite spot, and I used to come here all the time before the pandemic, I know this place has gotten hit hard by the closure and staff issues. So please be friendly when going. They are trying to land on their feet like many other small businesses still open. What made my stars not a 5 rating was the cleanliness of the people at the grill. The food was being grated right onto the floor and not the catch tray. I know it's meant for liquids mostly, but I've seen most grillers scape into a neat pile and then pulle the residue into a dirty plate or bowl, reducing food on the floor. From any other point of view, it may have been deemed a hazard, and I hate the thought of this place closing. It has great people and food.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, but just like allergy issues might occur, they grill everything together, so please keep that in mind if you cannot have any of your food cooked with meat, soy, or gluten.Kid-friendliness: Alot of fun for kids to see their food cooked. I will note that they do not have baby carier hammocks, just highchairs.Parking: I'm not certain about the number of spots, but the restaurant is on a dead-end street, so you can always park on the street. However, like anything else, if the lot is full, chances are there is bound to be a wait.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot to the table was flat, so getting in won't be an issue. They have tabletops and booths, so you can wheel right in. The only issue I see may be when getting your food at the stations. Being as everything is high enough, it may be difficult to see.
First time here! Server and cooks were great! The food was fresh and you choose your own veggies, sauce and protein so you are able to create your own concoction.Food: 4/5
The food is great. The one challenge is when they are busy the line can get really long for the grill. All in all a good place to eat though. Easy to make your dish vegan but they are cooked on the same flattop grill as meat. It's cleaned regularly but it's only fair to call that out.Food: 5/5
Food is always delicious! Unfortunately, undoubtedly due to covid lockdowns, they have had to make financial changes such as no more spring rolls available and desert costs extra.Kid-friendliness: my kids love being able to choose from all the options. It's also been a great place to get my kids to try out new veggies they would have usually not tried.Parking: plenty of parking
