Elements Diner - Vancouver

The food was creative and excellent, and really well priced. The staff were keen to please and very attentive. They offered great suggestions for menu items we might enjoy. It's a very casual café/diner atmosphere, but you could serve the same food in a fancier place at a higher price and people would think they were getting great value.

I found this gem because of OpenTable. I saw both a bad review and a good review and decided to take a chance.....and I 'm really glad I did. What I found were people that really took great care and pride in preparing their cuisine. The special Udon bowl had an incredibly tasty broth. You must have both the pork and beef. Both were braised with love and then were incredibly tender. Please give this place a try, be patient, and enjoy the cuisine that is placed I front of you.

The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... So all in all good food, WAY over priced!

Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend.
