Vancouver now has its very own Georgian restaurant! Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country's famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheerful Evergreen Boulevard cafe. The menu at Dediko is filled with classic dishes from the region, including various khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes known as phkali, and grilled meats called mtsvadi. Additionally, Dediko's kababi is a delicious kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, served in lavash flatbread. One of the standout dishes is lobio, a homey bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, accompanied by fermented vegetables and Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

This place is phenomenal. I’ve been obsessed with Georgian food after a recent trip to Russia and was so thrilled to find DEDIKo. Isabella was so sweet and knowledgeable; Georgian wines are fantastic. We had a tasty bottle along with the tomato cucumber salad, the grilled chicken, tomato beef soup, soup dumplings, and my favorite the Georgian cheese bread. We tried the plum sweet and the honey cake. SO good. Can’t wait to come visit my best friend again so I can bring her to dinner here

I visited this restaurant for the second time, returning after a pre-covid visit. I am so glad that this place is still open. The food is authentic and amazing. I have tried nearly every dish on the dinner menu and they are all delicious. The service and noise level are perfect.
