Es gib... read more Das Vinoforum liegt in Ernst, direkt neben der bekannten Moselstadt Cochem.Man kann bei schönem Wetter wunderbar draussen sitzen mit Blick auf die Mosel. Es gibt eine kleine, feine Karte und die Weine sind ausgezeichnet.

They happily accommodated us and asked each of the four of us our wine preferences, and gave us each a custom tasting of four wines. Very nice! They spoke with us about the wines and we were able to buy a few bottles that we really liked. They let us stay and enjoy them even though they were closing up and we appreciated that. Didn't get to eat - next time!

Sc... read more Wir hatten noch ein wenig Zeit um unser Hotel in Ernst zu beziehen. Wir hielten Ausschau noch einem Kaffee, Bistro o.ä. und wurden mit dem Vino Forum fündig. Schön etwas oberhalb der Mosel an der Straße gelegen. Parkplatz aber auch die Möglichkeit Fahrräder abzustellen und sie im Blick zu begehalten ist vorhanden. Alles neu und sehr modern. Die Terrasse hat bei schönen Wetter zum Verweilen eingeladen. Sofort wurde von uns ein Riesling und ein Cappuccino mit einem Kuchen mit Sahne bestellt. Es wurden weitere Mahlzeiten angeboten. Serviert wurde durch eine nette Bedienung umgehend. Der Wein und auch Kaffee und Kuchen schmeckten - lecker. Dabei konnte beobachtet werden, was sich auf der Mosel so Alles tat. Bei zu viel Sonne konnten vorhandene Sonnenschirme aufgespannt werden.Auch die Sanitärräume sehr modern und alles blitze blank. Zum Hände trocknen gab es kleine Gästehandtücher. Zusammen alles sehr ansprechend.

Wines were great, the staff also served outside, but as one of the owners brought us a burning cake, he visited my 6-year-old daughter and us in a not so hospitable way to take their small shoes of his outdoor chairs. The chairs were made for the outside seat, and not covered with a cloth, their tiny sandals were also dirty. Even if we spent more in his place than average, with 12 bottles and an invoice outside for tasting, he did not make us very welcome.
