We had to travel 90 minutes to arrive from home and arrived at 11am, before lunch our daughter had already done a short walk with a llama (Euro7) and a short horse ride(Euro7). After lunch she also joined the farm tour which was done by a very friendly guide (10 euro). It was a full day by the time we got home as we also got to drive up and over some local snow covered mountains on the way back. So it was enjoyable from a-z The food was generally very good, we had the bis menu meaning we tried everything and apart from a risotto which was a bit runny it was all good. Our daughter also had risotto and with a bottle of house red wine, water, coffee and three desserts we paid a reasonable 85euro. We will return with some other friends with kids another time.
We ate at the restaurant and then took part in the farm activity with our 3 year old. The food was lovely, the place was beautifully decorated and clean, the staff very helpful. The piece of resistance was definitely the kids' activity. It was 10 Euros per child, and they get to caress rabbits, a bird, horses and take a Llama for a little walk. Definitely memorable. Location was superb too. I'd definitely recommend it for any families looking for something to do.
We did the tasting menu and we ate a lot. Great food. Friendly staff. Nice and quiet area. And when the check came, we were surprised that it costs next to nothing. Highly recommend.
A lovely place nestled in the hills not far from Bergamo. We were welcomed warmly despite being the only foreigners in the place. Authentic, home cooked food served in huge quantities all for very little money. Highly recommended!
The really good Casoncelli (and having lived in Bergamo I know what I'm talking about). The Pizzocheri, too. The room is very nice, spacious, bright, well-kept (evident feminine touch). The only painful note of the Tiramisù: syrupy, spongy. To digest of course I recommend a tour to the stable, where you will see several animals. If you have children it is very educational the excursion with the Lama and Alpaca because it teaches children that animals are not there only to be seen but educated to take care of them, to understand them, to live together and therefore to respect them. And they don't spit!
