Steak N Shake - Valrico

This restaurant is meant to be a nostalgic 1950s diner experience. However, ordering food on computers was definitely not a thing back then! Instead of servers bringing your food to the table, they call out your name. I also saw a guy walking around in just his socks. I assumed he worked there since he went through the staff door. It was definitely a strange sight. The young man who called out my name was very polite, and the food was tasty.

I had to wait, and they did not have sweet tea. However, the food and customer service were excellent. It was perfectly made and very fresh. I ordered the triple cheese fresco melt combo, and it was delicious. This occurred on 11/28 between 6:45 and 7:00pm.

The restaurant offers a wide range of shakes. We are pleased that they have transitioned to ordering and paying through touch screen kiosks, instead of relying on servers. The service used to be slow with long waits when served by servers. However, since implementing the kiosks, we have noticed a significant improvement in the speed of our orders in our last two visits.

They have updated to self-ordering kiosk and self filling drink area. Easy to use . . Always have loved their steak burger but I have to say this particular S&S has amazing onion rings!

This Steak ?n Shake Is awesome! Every time I?m there employees are friendly and helpful. Cook does an awesome job!! Food is always hot and fresh. Reasonable prices. Not much more to say just look at the picture. Now that?s a presentation! Speaks foritself
