After he ordered the drinks, he was very slow. at the end we skipped the dessert (which was part of the menu we ordered and paid) to drive away. also getting the bill took a long time until I put myself to the bank. We could only pay cash at the top because the machine was not ordered. the meals were medium quality up to the max. yesterday we had fish in this city and the quality was far better. After we have seen the high rating here, we are more than disappointed. perhaps only bad, but this is one of the most disappointing (high-rated) restaurants we have ever visited.

The food was amazing, the Portuguese Beef pictured is one of the nicest meals I have had in years. My wife had the...grilled salmon which was also lovely. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, and very friendly. You may have to search this place out as it is in a back street, but you will not be disappointed. Prices are also very reasonable for such high quality. Very highly recommended.

However thanks to the... read more We have been visiting Armacao da Pera for the last years and have always enjoyed the wide choice of restaurants in and around the resort. However thanks to the recommendation of friends we discovered this restaurant that provides exceptionally good food at extremely reasonable...prices. What really makes this restaurant however is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We went there with a group of friends and were so impressed, we returned as a couple later in the week. We were treated like friends and once again the food was superb. This is only their second season and we wish all concerned every success for the future.
