When we arrived we were almost immediately seated and had, despite the short-term reservation, a fairly nice place. The service was very pleasant and also the food is definitely worth going there. The wonderful thing of this restaurant is that it can be used as a starting or ending point for a visit of the nearby stalactite caves of Grotte de Vallorbe. After having taken our order the waiter served us a nice small appetiser to our aperitif. Two of us had ordered the classic Tartare which is actually prepared manually and prior to be served the waiter serves you a small sample to see if the tartar is as you would like it. One person had the Croute Morille, a Swiss dish served in a ceramic pan which is baked bread with several ingredients over it (a little bit like a heavy hot breakfast), and in this case served with morels – excellent, for sure. The dessert we had, a moelleux au chocolat, is a warm, inside still liquid, chocolate cake – was of excellent taste as well. Definitely worth a visit, and don’t forget to do the stalactite caves.

But it was above all the quality of the food that completely won us over. Each bite was a true delight for the taste buds. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the dishes were presented with great finesse. We were also impressed by the impeccable and attentive service from the staff. They took great care of us and made our experience even more pleasant. We can only recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. We look forward to returning !
