Burger Baron - Valleyview

Ordered a burger, it was not made fresh as you would expect, instead it was a frozen box patty for twice the price of McDonald's for no reason. How hard is it to take ground beef, breadcrumbs and spice and make a homemade burger!

I had gotten into town late and was desperate for a meal and the staff at the hotel recommended Burger Baron. I called in an order for Canadian pizza and wanted three pieces of fried chicken which was supposed to be really good . Even though chicken is listed by the piece, ordering three pieces was apparently too difficult and I just settled on the snack pack (two pieces of chicken fries, and bun). I ended up paying quite a bit more than I would have expected but I don 't know if food prices are high in the area. The pizza was just okay. The chicken was disappointing for being so hyped up. I had to dip my fries in gravy to make them palatable.

We utilize the drive threw for Ice cream on those hot days and stop in for a burger now and then : .

The food is often slimy and the paper thin meat in the hamburgers usually causes upset stomachs. Sometimes the pizza is ok. But the 2 for 1 special is a joke. You buy 2 and pay the price of 2. Sometimes the ice cream is ok but not in winter when it's old and sour.

We travelled from the north to Edmonton...needed to break the journey and feed the family. Oh dear...maybe we chose the wrong thing on the menu, but the burger was not edible, fries tasted odd (old cooking fat! ...my hubby will eat almost anything and he left his food. The seating area needs a scrub, including the floor..!
