Ruby Tuesday - Valley Park

We arrived for lunch and were seated promptly. The waitstaff was very attentive, and our food arrived quickly (even before our salads were finished). My honey chicken sandwich was tasty. The salad bar could have used some replenishing, but everything was still available and up to their usual standards.

Overall, the experience at the restaurant was pretty good, but not great. Unfortunately, several items we wanted to order were not available. The hot wings we ended up ordering were fantastic! However, the steak lacked flavor and both the potatoes and rice pilaf were bland. It seemed like there was a shortage of seasoning on everything except for the wings. Fortunately, salt and pepper on the table helped to improve the taste. Despite the slow pace of the restaurant, the service was also quite slow. Our waitress appeared to also be the bartender, indicating a lack of staff rather than effort. We dined at the beginning of dinner service (4:45), so it may have been a case of bad timing on our part. Overall, we would return to the restaurant but will wait until later in the day when hopefully there will be more staff available.

The food and salad bar at this restaurant are good. The service is generally good, but it can be a bit slow at times. The staff are friendly and polite. Overall, it was a good experience.
