Have been going to this place for over two years now, always an enjoyable time. Management is considerate, staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to serve. Bartender is wonderful with lots of great drinks to choose from. What Stuart Feeney doesn't like about Bowlero Lakeside:
This place is awesome! However tonight got the manager was really rude to me personally. He talked to me like a child and I didn?t really appreciate it. He had a pony tail and just overall not nice. I manage two fast food restaurants and understand frustration but this was uncalled for. View all feedback.
I love the league I play at Lakeside near Valley Park, MO. There is no money or trophies involved. However, there is the competition of trying to beat the other teams! Lousy Bowlers!
I loved it. It was incredible experience here. We enjoyed a lot. We were in the group of 4 people, so it was competition between us. It doubles pleasure. We tried flower wings here was good.
Dear Bowling! And this place didn't disappoint! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff and many food and drinks options! Definitely recommend!
Just visited for the first time, and I want to say upfront that if you come here ONLY to bowl, then it?s maybe worth a 3 star rating. However, if, like my husband and I, you saw the website and thought you?d be walking into an upscale, well-cared for bowling alley and arcade for your second date night away from home since your baby was born, well, you?d be wrong. This place is NOTHING like the website, so much so that it made us laugh when we walked in, and I actually thought we made a mistake thinking the Bowlero online was this one, but I?ve checked 3 times now, and this actually is the bowling alley listed on bowlero.com (out of paranoia before posting this review, I checked my receipts because I?m still in a bit of disbelief?they say Bowlero and Brunswick Zone). It?s mostly an old, rundown bowling alley with a new bar (the bar literally looks like it was pulled from somewhere else). I should have taken more photos, but I didn?t want to have my phone out while my hubby and I were hanging out for such a rare and special occasion. Don?t get me wrong, we made the best of it. We drove all the way there and only had a few hours to have ourselves a fantastic night out, so we enjoyed ourselves in spite of all the surprises. We actually passed up Top Golf and Main Event to come here because it?s closer and the website made this place out to be just as nice. The arcade is teeny tiny and the games are mostly old and not receiving proper maintenance. Two skeeball machines, only one worked so we had to take turns. Two basketball machines, one of which was making awful, distracting noises instead of playing the game sounds like the one next to it. The claw machines were the most tightly packed I?ve ever seen (I?ve loved claw machines since a very young age, so I?ve used MANY), and the primary reason that bothered me was because this place is not stocking prizes for ticket redemption AT ALL. If you?re not going to stock prizes for the tickets, then at least loosen up your claw machines! We didn?t know until after we spent $40 on credits for games that there wouldn?t be much of anything to redeem the tickets for. We love arcades and have never seen anything like that before. There wasn?t even a notice posted at the game card machine to let anyone know they?d basically be paying JUST for plays, not prizes. We ordered a pizza; it took a while, tasted fine, but there was nothing special about it. It was $27.44 for a 16? pizza, the most expensive pizza we?ve ever had. Two non-alcoholic beverages from the bar was $14.75, $16.75 with tip because the bartender was the only person we encountered wearing a smile. She was absolutely lovely; we?d go back if everyone were half as pleasant and welcoming as her. Maybe she was the only happy one because she was the only one who got to work in an environment that sort of resembled the website?s advertising lol. The lanes are lanes, no complaints. Everything worked fine. The g
