An incredible discovery. After visiting the Castle Ruspoli (which needs a recension apart, beautiful! we were looking for a place to eat and relax a bit, since we had 7 children (2-8 years). Wonderful place, away from chaos but three minutes from the Castle. Chosen based on reviews and descriptions of tripadvisor, as we were looking for a restaurant in the area where to go after visiting the nearby castle of ruspoli. I must say that we were satisfied, not only for the pleasant position in the middle of chestnut and hazelnut woods, but for the level of the dishes, all with excellent products of the territory. in particular, I was struck by the salty bigne stuffed with various creams with cheese or hazelnuts, really delicious and hay, typical dogpine pasta, with truffles, crisp cheeks and pecorino . plentiful portions, so much so that I have to give up dessert! definitely the chef is very prepared and professional and the attentive and courteous staff. the price is all in line with the products consumed (tartufo and mushrooms) and with the quality of the same. Just one thing, maybe I'd put a greater choice of local wines.

On the advice of acquaintances, on the occasion of a winter trip from Rome, we opted to try the kitchen of the Powder. The location is beautiful, easily accessible and surrounded by nature. The whole place is very nice and the service is impeccable. The menu ' is varied and offers many inviting proposals, from appetizers, to first, to second, to wine to desserts, you will never find anything trivial. The products used in the kitchen are all local and fresh, and you feel immediately (the mushrooms, proposed in various dishes, are to try absolutely). We will definitely come back! Definitely recommended, it is worth leaving Rome even for a lunch outside door.
