Rubio's Coastal Grill - Vallejo

I like Rubio for lunch. The food Guacamole always tastes fresh. The shrimp tacos, burritos and chicken taquitos are my walk to menu items.

The tables were sticky. The seats had food on them. The floors were dirty. Some fountain drinks didn't have nozzles, so I got sprayed by sticky drinks. The food was decent, and the servers were quick at getting our food out.

Our first time at the Vallejo location. Employees were friendly but the orders took a while. The salsa bar was stocked well at all. We had to wipe down our own table and the place wasn't as clean as it should have been. They need to make sure they have enough employees scheduled. Won't be going back.

Have been going here since they opened years ago its been a hit and a miss.I thought it got better because the wait time has gone down from 45 mins. But they keep getting the order wrong or they will double charge me or this time I ordered a shrimp burrito that was labeled on the outside right, I get home its a chicken burrito I don't know if I should ever come back or Waite a few months again.

We had to eat outside due to covid, but we had to clean our table before we could even sit down after we ordered. The cashier told us only bottled drinks were available (again, covid shut down self serve soda machine), but we saw someone with tea, which the cashier failed to mention! After 30 minutes, the guy brought our food, but they were not marked which one was which. When I asked him, he had no idea. So we had to unwrap one of the burritos to identify it's contents. I also had to go back inside to get napkins because he didn't bring any with the food and there were no napkin dispensers. The food was good but the service and cleaning the tables needs work! It will be a while before I go back to the Vallejo Rubios.
