Ramen 101 - Vallejo

Black Garlic Ramen was so delicious! Perfectly made. Chicken Katsu is always good. Huge serving.

Veg tempura was half onion rings, not so great this time. Chicken plate was good but no soy sauce packets! I will still order again just different menu items!

Tonkotsu ramen was extremely flavorless. noodles were ok. chashu was serviceable. spicy option was a joke. place came highly recommended. very disappointed.

We ordered Seafood Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Chicken Ramen, they were all delicious and generous in size and ingredients. The Geso Fry (squid leg) was a little above average and satisfying. The Vegetable Tempura was a little tough, not bad, but I had to gnaw on it a little, which is atypical. Everything was packed great and stayed hot for a while. I'd definitely go back, but I would rethink the tempura

The tonkotsu ramen didn't taste like other BETTER restaurants who actually know how to make real ramen. Karage tasted like Chinese popcorn chicken and was overcooked instead of flash fried. People who think this place makes good ramen probably only ever ate Top Ramen or Cup o Noodles, and never had real ramen from places like Ryujin, Hiroshi, Himawari, Ramen Dojo, Santa Ramen, etc. Spam masubi had way too much rice. Never eating here again.
