The Black Garlic Ramen was truly delicious and prepared with impressive skill. The Chicken Katsu was equally outstanding, and the portion size was very generous.
The tonkotsu ramen fell short of my expectations and was quite disappointing. While the noodles were decent and the chashu was acceptable, the spicy version didn’t deliver as anticipated. I had high hopes for this restaurant since it came highly recommended, but I left feeling quite let down.
The tonkotsu ramen was quite disappointing and didn't compare to other places that truly excel at making authentic ramen. The karaage resembled Chinese popcorn chicken more than the genuine article and was overcooked rather than being perfectly flash-fried. I believe that those who think this restaurant serves good ramen may be more accustomed to instant noodles like Top Ramen or Cup Noodles, rather than the authentic offerings from excellent spots like Ryujin, Hiroshi, Himawari, Ramen Dojo, Santa Ramen, and others. Additionally, the spam musubi had way too much rice. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
We ordered the Seafood Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Chicken Ramen, and each dish was delicious, with ample portions and fresh ingredients. The Geso Fry (squid legs) was especially flavorful and very satisfying. However, I found the Vegetable Tempura to be a bit tougher than I expected—not bad, but I had to chew more than anticipated. Everything was nicely packaged and remained hot for a long time. I would definitely come back, though I might opt for a different dish instead of the tempura next time.
The vegetable tempura was mainly made up of onion rings, which was a bit disappointing this time around. The chicken plate had great flavor, but unfortunately, there were no soy sauce packets included! I will definitely order again, though I plan to try some different dishes next time!
