I ate lunch there today. It was hot and delicious. I really enjoyed their brisket and ribs. Sides were good too. Should have higher ratings as this place is good. View all feedback.
What Elizabeth Contreras doesn't like about Dickey's Barbecue Pit:
We got a family meal. The meat was dry, we did not get biscuits, we received a piece of sandwich bread, They advertise kids eat free on sundays and have a sign saying it but did not want to honor the price or cancel our order after we had paid. They told us to contact manager but there was no manager in store. The ambiance was really off. There was christian music playing, which is kind of odd in a place of business. T... View all feedback.
I just arrived at the Vallejo location to place a large order, only to find the restaurant closed and the door locked. The website indicated that the store was open and should have been until 9 PM. It's really disappointing to see that they were closed on a Sunday afternoon. They must have gone out of business.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken tasted sour, as if it had been cooked a week prior. The beans were bitter and had a horrible smell. The pulled pork was dry and coated in an overly salty rub—who thinks that's a good idea? The green beans were slimy and brown, and the smell was nauseating. My husband ordered the jalapeño sausage, which arrived cold with congealed cheese. I give it a 10/10 NOT RECOMMENDED. Do not waste your time or money here. We spent over $80 and ended up ordering from somewhere else. My husband called to speak with management and was told, "they don’t do that." It's just ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs!
Please don't eat here. My GF and I got very sick after eating here. some kind of gastrointestinal bacterial infection.Unlike my gf I have eaten at dickies in concord multiple times and food was always good and never had a problem but this was her first time and her last time, EVER!!

There was christian music playing, which is kind of odd in a place of business. The music stopped then it was completely quiet all the tvs were on mute. There was a table blocking the bathroom so we thought the bathroom was closed. So disapointed never experienced this at a dickeys other locations have better service and taste.
We ordered twice from this restaurant. After our second visit, my partner and I both fell ill a few hours after finishing our meals. The sickness lasted for three days. The food didn't taste quite right, and we barely touched our plates.
