El Portal - Feedback

What User doesn't like about El Portal:
This eatery has a balcony overlooking the plaza, the zocalo, the cathedral, the main part of town. It's quite nice, you're under cover but can see out over everything. The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. The food sucks though, frozen veggies, soggy fish, grey meat that was overcooked and underseasoned, the soup was good, but I did find a hair in it, may have been my own, who knows? Beers were cold... We wandered into El Portal, on the square in Valle, after a restaurant we had tried and liked on a previous trip was closed. We were pleasantly surprised! The ambience was quaint and warm, the waiter friendly and amused by our continued orders of Margaritas after we warily ordered the first batch (it's hard to find an especially good Margarita) and loved them, and the food quite good.
