Carrito De Cochinita Pibil - Valladolid

Fantastic taco de cochinita pibil for only 11 pesos. An additional bonus is that you can try it at night when the traditional cochinita pibil places are long closed.

Streetfood best. What a pig. I usually don't eat pork, but man was divine. Must taste food.

Lived Cochinita stand, worth 10min in wait. Tortas are amazing.

After I had developed a taste for Cochinita Pibil in Merida (get it from restaurant La Chaya Maya! , I had some lukewarm experiences with the court since. So I asked the local Raimundo in my hostel where I can get the best Cochinita in Valladolid and he was quick to point out that this is street food as such should be eaten. I ate five tacos at the booth and could have gone on, a feast. At $11/taco (I think $25/Torta, it's of course an absolute bargain. There are no seats to sit, so you can just eat the food on the walkway. There is a water tank with a tap on the roadcar to wash your hands after that. Reorder and pay in the end. You can take it, too, but I'd say it's smart to hang around, you might want more of it. Apparently there are two different car owners who serve the place, but both are supposed to be great.

Very delicious but be carefull if you are sensitive to hot/spicy food ;
