You can't go wrong with the food here. I got the chicken sandwich with the spicy sauce and it was made perfect. Do not expect your food to be delivered to you right away as it is made to order so you know you are getting fresh food. The service is great as we were helped right away. The line did get pretty big but they were fast to move it. We were acknowledged and helped tight away.
If you 're hungry, consider ordering the plate with your choice of protein and comes with a generous amount of rice (white or brown), vegetables, corn on the cob, bread and artisan style oil vinaigrette salad with grapes, small cherry tomatoes, sliced almonds and seasoned croutons. For the less voracious, try a salad or rice bowl to get a similar delicious flavor experience. The tropical iced tea seems to be a nice compliment. Rustic Eatery has stood the test of time being in business 5+ years. The quality is just as good and prices have stayed relatively flat as I remember when it opened years ago.
I have eaten at Rustic Eatery a few times for lunch. I ordered the Ribeye Shabu Cut bowl, with sweet soy sauce, every time. The bowl comes with meat, lots of rice, and cooked vegetables. The food is freshly prepared, the ingredients taste of quality, and service is rapid. I really enjoyed the sweet-salty flavor of the sweet soy sauce with the tender cuts of Ribeye. The Ribeye and sweet soy sauce blended nicely with the rice, and the vegetables served to balance out the palate. For a few dollars more than comparable establishments, customers can obtain a superior meal in terms of quality.
We had lunch for our first visit here today. The wife and I both went with the Prime Cut Ribeye Plates; with brown rice, fresh vegetables, salad with a lemon vinaigrette, roasted corn on the cob, and a slice of bread with butter included. The only difference in our orders were the choices of marinades. While Jackie chose the sweet soy sauce on the side, I had the sweet spicy red chile, very tasty. Service is very casual but friendly; order at the counter then wait for your number to be called. Everything was extremely fresh, with the beef being tender and succulent and veggies straight from the market, not frozen. The grilled corn on the cob was out of this world! I wasn't too crazy about the salad but the lemon vinaigrette was superb. And the rice was not overly dry by its self. Not cheap though at $39.31 total for lunch, and she only had water to drink. But the portions are very filling. We'll probably opt for the bowl over plate next visit, and yes, a definite likely to return spot for the both of us.
This place was awesome and super simple to order. It's divided into 3 choices. First choice is to pick either salad, bowl, sandwich, or plate. Second choice is your protein-choose beef, pork, chicken, seafood, or tofu. Third choice is your seasoning- Salt and pepper, a sweet and sour, or a teriyaki type of sauce. Love the fact that I didn't have to looked through pages upon pages of food choices being overwhelmed and changing my mind again and again. The portion were large and everything tasted super fresh and healthy. I had the ribeye plate which came with brown rice, veggies, a salad, and sliced ribeye. The rice was fluffy, the veggies were crispy and not over cooked, and the salad was a spring mix with a vinaigrette. It also came with a small piece of bread. I also had a cup of spicy chicken soup. It was spicy but not overly spicy with lots of chicken. my husband had the sandwich which he really enjoyed and was completely satisfied with the portion so much so that he didn't need to finish my plate because he was full. All of it was really good. We'll be back.
