Staff was friendly and efficient.

There is an extensive wine list including some reasonably priced options. We had a selection of tapas and particularly recommend the gambones (juicy, plenty of garlic), mejillones and the chiporones which were exceptional. The patatas bravas were really tasty. Overall the tapas portions are generous. Total bill for 4 including a round of beers and 2 bottles of wine was €150. We wouldn't hesitate to return here when back in Valencia.

We parked up and, being hungry, came across Teke Taberna being the recommendation of a takeaway paella shop. We arrived to a warm welcome, a fabulous glass of ale an interesting menu del dia. What we didn’t expect was how amazing the food was. The freshest of freshest mussels followed by braised steak that was utter melt in the mouth all accompanied by a pleasant glass of vino tinto. All in all a simple, well cooked tasty discovery.

The service wa... read more A truly Spanish experience. I went with my wife and three grown up children. We ordered a couple of tapas dishes each and just shared everything. The service was absolutely excellent as was the food and the atmosphere. My wife and I shared a lovely bottle of Spanish white wine, my two daughters each had a glass of Valencian wine and my son had a local beer. We all had a truly lovely evening.
