We had a fabulous meal with very attentive waitstaff. The rock fish ceviche was unbelievably delicious and sirloin was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!
Recommended by our hotel and we were not disappointed! Food was excellent — delicious tapas style starters and a seafood rice dish were beautifully presented, hot and very tasty. We liked it so much that we ate here twice in 4 days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was accessed by a QR code but this seemed to be standard in Valencia. We sat at a bar style table at the front of the restaurant by the grill which we really enjoyed. Not cheap but worth every penny, didn’t feel rushed. Would def recommend and can’t understand some of the poor reviews here.
Curt service. Stuck in a corner with staff leaning over to get whiskies. No one asked me whether I wanted some wine. When I did, the lack of friendly and knowledgeable direction led me to have just a glass of white and escape the place as soon as possible. Not somewhere to relax and enjoy the evening. Paella was ok; lacked seasoning. €100 for two with two starters and a paella. Not worth it.
After having dinner elsewhere, we went to Q Tomas since it was next to our hotel. We simply wanted a glass of wine and dessert, but the staff rudely informed us that if we weren’t eating dinner, we could not be there. The restaurant was basically empty, so we would have thought that our business would be appreciated. We will not return to Q Tomas after being treated this way. We also talked to another couple that had the same experience.
Our 5 star hotel booked this restaurant for us. I only looked at the reviews after this and before we went there. The waiters were ‘sloshing’ the water on the table while serving and also the wine. The starters were ok as was the wine. My wife and I were sharing sea bass. However, they served us cold uncooked fish. When we complained they just reheated it. We insisted that they cook another new fish. This was cooked ok but still cold. The vegetables for the course didn’t come until we reminded them and arrived when we had finished the main course. Overall the service was extremely poor. We complained to the manager. She didn’t speak English but accepted our complaint and offered not to charge for the main course. I don’t think they should have changed us anything. We obviously gave feedback to our hotel when we got back there.
