Very good place to sit down and relax on a quiet park in the old centre. People are very friendly and helpfull. Food and drinks are delicious. You wait 25 min for a fresh paella, but word waiting for. I would say go to there. Reservations for a sunny spot on terrace is possible. Enjoy and relax View all feedback.
What Sana G doesn't like about Pico Fino:
Terrible over fried potatoes, calamari, and shrimp. Lettuce was brittle somehow, and the only good thing there was the sliced cheese. Partner got pizza that was absolutely terrible. If you want a view and mediocre sangria go ahead but the food is garbage. service was fast and friendly. The kitchen needs some work. View all feedback.
An emblem of true culinary passion, Pico Fino is a tapas Gastrobar that channels unique flavor and a passion for excellence. Set in the Plaza de la Reina, near the Cathedral, Pico Fino offers diners avant-garde culinary experiences, with a menu that highlights the freshest ingredients cooked in innovative ways. My friend and I stopped in for lunch one afternoon, and we were so happy with our choice. It was a satisfying meal, with delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. I loved the blue tiled walls, with geometric differences adding visual interest, as well as the fluid, curved chairs and wooden elements. The terrace is beautiful as well, providing a contemporary open-air dining experience in one of the best parts of Valencia. We shared a variety of dishes, starting with chicken croquettes and squid croquettes, both which were breaded beautifully and fried to perfection. I loved the bravas potatoes with light garlic sauce and romesco sauce. Pico Fino’s romesco is deliciously nutty and peppery, and complimented the potatoes and garlic. Next, we indulged in hearty artichokes with molted sheep cheese, which was a perfect accompaniment to the slightly nutty, earthy vegetable. The sheep cheese was salty and I loved dipping the artichoke leaves in the warm cheese. We also tried the focaccia with beef sweetbread and grilled octopus with mashed potatoes. Both were delicious, and the octopus was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Masterfully grilled with a fresh flavor, and mixed with creamy, fluffy mashed potatoes, I was in food heaven. For dessert, we reveled in chocolate ice cream with citrus sauce. The rich taste of the creamy cool chocolate with the bittersweet notes of the citrus were the best ending to a fantastic lunch. I highly recommend Pico Fino, and can’t wait to return.
I tried two tapas here that weren't that great but the staff was friendly and the location is great.
