Stumbled upon this food truck on a search for a quick lunch. Easy to find in the middle of a small town. Surprisingly varied menu. Goat burger was delicious. Local fries with gravy and cheese was a decadent treat. Reasonable prices and pleasant service. Well worth a visit. View all feedback.

Stopped by this cute little food truck for a bite to eat and as we went to order the lady told us too take seat on the picnic tables. We did and chose our meals. After waiting over 10 mins and watching her serve 3 other families that arrived after us. I went us and asked to order. "We can't take any more orders for now the kitchens too busy. Just have seat and I will come get your order in a few minutes. We sat again... View all feedback.

Horrible service!!!! Why bother stopping to support local businesses??? Ps there are only 2 picnic tables it would be hard to miss a family of 5 sitting there waiting. I went up again to ask why she again served others. Oh I didn't see u!! We left!!
Burger defiantly not worth the 9 bucks with no fries. Turkey burger was super bland and the fries for the pouting where burnt and the gravy didn't have much flavour. We were defiantly expecting more out of this food truck
So being that food trucks are trending for years right now...being it's the only one in Valemount, you gotta try it...right.Fail.Cool name, but they serve poutine that they state is Quebec poutine style..... so terrible and soggy. Very bad.Onion rings...barely average. Chef needs to ramp it up better...not worth the stop. Too bad.
We just ate from The Funky Goat Eatery Food Truck two nights in a row Oct. 13 & 14 while staying at the nearby Goat's Head Gatehouse. The poutine you get at The Funky Goat is some of the best we have had in Canada. I have always felt that gravy is the key element in what constitutes a great poutine. It helps to have fine French Fries and Cheese Curds as well - but if the gravy is bad then you simply cannot have a good poutine. David gets all the components so right and his gravy is out of this world! We had his very well-made and delicious salmon burger as well and his (Asian) chicken dumplings were better than we find most of the time in Los Angeles. David is very friendly and conversant and probably belongs in Portland (as well as Valemount) with his Steampunk vibe and culinary skills! Do not miss the chance to taste David's fine food!
