Their famous Reuben melt sandwich, made with house-made corned beef, was terrible. The meat was cut thick and was extremely tough and chewy. At one point I had to open up the sandwich to see if there was even any sauerkraut inside. There was, but not enough to even taste it. The bread, a marbled rye, was very good. Just everything else was bad. The fries had zero color to them and were so underdone it was ridiculous. Even their pie left a lot to be desired. The filling was just OK, but look at that underdone crust. The only good thing I can say about this place is that my waitress was cheery and attentive. Good job there.
