KC was our server and she was friendly and helpful with the menu as it was our first time here.We started with jalapeño poppers and they were amazing. Peppers inside were soft so when you bite into them they dont pull right out of the breading, breading was gold and crisp. 10/10 there.I got the chicken breast, pinto beans, mac&cheese and cornbread. Chicken was flavorful and fairly moist. Beans and onions were good and I 'll be back for more. Mac and cheese was good(a few cold spots however) and the cornbread was soft, moist about as good as I 've had hear in NC.She had chicken tenders collard greens and Mac and cheese. She had no complaints, specifically said the ranch was great. Collard greens better than she 's had before.Well be back ! Kid-friendliness: Modest kid menu. Good kid friendly options.

I love a... read more I'm not a hotdog or burger stand kind of person. I have to be in the mood. And I wasnt in the mood today either. But I decided to stop in here anyway. I love a hole in the wall, especially out in the country. I ordered the special today; pot roast with mashed potatoes and greens. The pot roast falls right apart, the mashed potatoes are real and good, the greens are also on point. Definitely worth following the random urge to pull in! I will be back!

One of the staff yelled out the window that we needed to leave. Ok Karen if you guys don't want our money fine by me. Will NEVER stop there again.
