Went in a little while ago looking for food with the wife, vegetarian, asked to see menu which didn 't seem to have any vegetarian mains, asked if I was being blind or did they have nothing vegetarian? Nope, we have nothing vegetarian replied the lady behind bar in an unapologetic, unfriendly tone. We went elsewhere. View all feedback.
Family Christmas meal The food is unbelievable so so good massive portions fresh food . First class service highly recommended. Has to be the best in Oxfordshire
This is the second time I’ve been for a birthday meal here with my work colleagues. 8 of us. All food served quickly piping hot. Not to mention the huge portion sizes. Fabulous food. Amazing staff who clearly love what they do. Couldn’t recommend them more.

We had lunch at The Wheatsheaf on our way home from a morning on the river. Wow the portions are very generous and very reasonably priced. The staff were excellent and we will definitely return. My nephew and friends soon demolished the food we were unable to eat and took home.
Work lunch for 8. Portion size was very generous. Food was piping hot and delicious. Friendly welcome from all staff. Lovely environment. Not a complaint to be had from the whole team.
