What Cameron Hunter doesn't like about The Plough Inn:
I am absolutely shocked by my experience at this pub tonight. Around 8:30, I witnessed a woman being physically assaulted by a man, and the staff did nothing to intervene. I will not be returning to this establishment due to this unacceptable behavior. This was my first time visiting this venue for the Whitfest event. View all feedback.

Pampered at the bottom of her garden. very friendly manager. great eating, had, steak burger cheese and speck, with chips and wobble rings. quality, home made, beautiful and hot. make sure they are hungry, they will not be disappointed.
They can tell a big pub from a good pub from the disguised attention to detail. clean and tidy with fresh tasting beer. our new drinks were poured when I approached the controlled servier area covid. the garden is well maintained and incredibly large, fall into the thems. Nice to see that the local elders bring the children to swing the beer gardens and slide back after the first day.
A great endpoint for a group visit in the lumps. each supported to enjoy their food, and the portions were generous (except the vegan option that apparently lacked something).
Lovely pub, good menu. Not many options for veggies but they were happy to adapt for me. Nice garden too.
