George And Dragon - Vale of White Horse

For a rare night for our jubilee we decided to visit the george and dragon and the evening was perfect. the service of all those with whom we spoke and the eating was exquisite. we will return definately and recommend this pub to everyone. thank you.

This pub every day for the last 4 years, decided to give it a try, and the food was superb all fresh cooked, muddle so well, staff very friendly, went back 2 weeks later, disappointed muscheln had expired, but this proves just how good they are, will soon go again. my compliments to the cook!

I recently visited The George after not going for a few years, and was surprised to see that The Dragon is no longer there. My main reason for visiting was to experience quiz night. While I didn't win, I enjoyed the community spirit, great beer, and substantial bar snacks. It seems like the place is under new ownership, as it is much tidier than before and has a slightly Orwellian influenced decor. The website link was not working and the pictures did not reflect the current atmosphere of the place. Despite these observations, I will definitely be returning and bringing some of my cleverer friends with me.
