Once a quaint space primarily selling essentials, it now boasts an inviting atmosphere with a diverse menu of homemade cakes, fresh pastries, and gourmet coffee that attracts both locals and visitors alike. While the shop offers delightful gifts and artisanal products, it continues to meet daily needs with grocery items and even gluten-free options. With friendly service and a welcoming ambiance, this establishment serves as an essential gathering place, particularly in the absence of the village pub, fostering connections among all ages.
This lovely cafe in a quaint village offers non-dairy milk options and vegan pastries.
We visited a charming shop with delicious homemade items. We stopped by for tea and cake, and the place was bustling with customers who were also enjoying lunch. I highly recommend this store.
Really sorry to have to write this, but the village shop is now 99% gift shop. It used to be buzzing, vibrant and full of customers every day when I walk past. Unfortunately, now it seems to be the opposite. Any provision for villagers to pop and pick up something for dinner that they may have been missing has totally gone. You can't just pick up ketchup these days and if you want crisps, it's game flavour! Please try and cater for all villagers, not just those that want to buy a tea towel or some artisan pottery.
Difficult to fault it great coffee, pastries and donuts!!!! Very pleasant staff but on occasion they use inexperienced wait staff. Main negative and this really depends on your mood is that it is sloooooooowwwwwwwwww.
Every Christmas, my parents bring my daughter to this small but perfect village shop and coffee shop. She always chooses wonderful foodie gifts from the amazing selection available. I highly recommend this place.
