Everyone was thrilled with their experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature, and the prices were reasonable. The service was fantastic as well. It’s always a great experience here! View all feedback.
What Chad Steuber doesn't like about Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen:
0 stars if that were an option. I waited over an hour for the second entree that never came!! The server brought one entree to the table, but forgot mine. This place used to be good with good service. I’m not sure what happened. The restaurant was empty, so I’m not sure what the problem was.
I ordered the monte cristo and it's easy the best monte cristo sandwich I've ever had and I'm glad to have it again! the chips and queso were also very good and the free honeybutter croissants were also delicious. our waiter, michael, was great. he was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. the world needs more server like him. Many thanks to michael for the great service! update: I am now a very happy repeater customer. I had several times her incredible monten cristo and I expect that I have a lot more. the service we received every time was also really good. I highly recommend this place. that said if they plan to order well made steak and do not want to see any red, I recommend to specify that. my partner ordered steak three times and asked twice to send it back because it was not well done. even if, highly recommended, eat at cheddars and especially the monte cristo!
Food was great I personally wasn't too happy about the rice It was kinda hard. The time me and my friend went was kinda busy so service was a bit slow. Our server walked passed us 3 times without checking on us to see if anything was needed. I opt to wait for my food to be brought out with my friends as they had to remake the steak she ordered.overall the place was nice I probably would go at a less busy time next time.
A little loud. Overall decent place to eat. Steak was a little undercooked for my liking. Waitress didn't put our to-go order in early enough so we had to wait a while on that. (She knew about it from the beginning)
I’m very conflicted about what to say with this restaurant. We showed up at around 6pm on a Friday evening. All of our food was good and came out just as we asked, in a very timely manner as well. For some reason though some of the items were extremely cold as if they had just been sitting on a counter for awhile before being severed? Our waitress was very slow/ semi rude and one of the bus boys had headphones in running around the dinning room throwing his dirty rag in the air while singing. Although I thought it was funny it’s not exactly something I want to see at a restaurant while I’m trying to eat. I had to call on a different waitress a couple of times as well. She was very amazing unlike the one we had been assigned. Very confused as to wether I would ever come back, 3/5 for me.
Tuesday 7pm. Not too busy. Seated in the bar area, near the patio seating where the cigarette smoke would waft in when the door was opened. This section was freezing, if you love the cold, this is the section for you. We placed our appetizer order spinach dip- fresh, hot and delicious through the kiosk. Waitress brought croissants but they were barely warm and unexpectedly flat Is this something new they do with the croissants? and but didn't bring the drinks. It took too long to get everything. Waitress was very polite so that is a plus. Ordered tilapia and shrimp. It had a blackened look to it, kinda spicy. Green beans were sweet which was not what I expected, but the broccoli was delicious. As we waited for our dessert Monster cookie with ice cream, whip cream and chocolate drizzle- tasted wonderful with the exception of the burnt cookie parts , busboy came over and started to collect our drink glasses, seemingly trying to rush us out. The dining experience was ok but could have been better.
