We went to this restaurant because the other times that have been many, the food was good but this last time they spent (and much) with the salt, if it is true that after a holiday bridge, the staff would be exhausted or serve leftovers of previous days. otherwise the staff is quite pleasant and attentive and the restaurant was going to burst View all feedback.
Near Madrid but as far as the hit could not reach us. Big covered terrace with nice views. Be innovative and brave to discover cabrito al Horno with red wine from Toro, Zamora. Don 't forget the mix salad for a best digestion and finish with some homemade desserts like arroz con leche (see picture, the spoon must stand). They are very spanish gentler and make you smile to get the best results on a family celebration or a stop in your trip around Madrid.
It has now become our favourite restaurant for family gatherings and celebrations. The decoration is rustic and located near the mountain in Valdemanco with spectacular views! Their speciality is baby Cordero (baby lamb) and they make it super soft and tasty! You need to call in advance in order to get the right amount of Cordero for the number of people attending. We also get a salad to go with it and the house wine which is also of very good quality. The service is really good and friendly! They have parking available right next to the restaurant and also the bus 725 from Plaza de Castilla arrives every 30min. We totally recommend Casa Santos!! Such a classic!!
Después de una excursión por la Sierra de la Cabrera reservamos en el restaurante Casa Santos porque nos lo habían recomendado. Todo un acierto. Los entrantes muy bien presentados y el principal, medio cochinillo al horno, que lo habíamos solicitado en la reserva, estaba espectacular. Los postres tampoco desmerecían. Y lo más sorprendente fué la cuenta. Muy comedida en relación con lo que habíamos comido. Es un lugar al que sin duda volveremos.
La comida es increíble y la atención es inmejorable. Nuestra elección fueron las mollejas, la ensalada y el lomo angus a la piedra, todo fue un acierto. ¡No olvides dejar espacio para el postre, especialmente el arroz con leche! La camarera, Sonia, es un encanto y una gran profesional. Sin duda, volveremos.
