I usually consider myself quite loyal to cafes and don’t have high culinary expectations, but this place was a disappointment. The solyanka didn’t even remotely resemble the traditional dish; it was just some strange and unappetizing soup. The signature salad had a combination of ingredients that was poorly thought out—salami, corn, cheese, and something else—I can’t even remember. Its dressing was just mayonnaise. The "zharkoye" consisted of little pieces of some meat that seemed burnt to a crisp. All of this was served with potatoes, which at least they managed to cook decently. The only thing they didn’t mess up was the Coca-Cola. In short, don’t waste your time and mood by going here.
The café is now called "District City." Don't be fooled by the low prices and limited menu. For three people, our bill nearly reached 1,500 rubles, and there was hardly anything worth eating. The portions are tiny, the dishes are bland, and they look unappetizing. None of the meals were seasoned; it seems the chef thinks that having wet salt shakers on the table is sufficient. I regretted paying upfront. This place doesn't even reach the standard of a cafeteria, where the food is quite tasty, albeit modest. On the bright side, the tea was good. However, we were only given nine sugar cubes for the teapot—every detail seems to be calculated. Please consider closing this place; it's embarrassing for the town.
The convenient location is probably the only real advantage of this place. The okroshka was terrible—thin kvass with something floating in it. The compote was unclear in its composition and served hot, which is unappealing in 30-degree heat. There was only one waitress taking and delivering orders. The tables lacked napkins, and the salt shakers were empty. We waited 40 minutes for the pancakes.
There was no food or drinks, but the company was great and fun, which saved the situation.
