A cozy cabin with ample outdoor lighting. We only had drinks. The service staff were very friendly and efficient!
Despite the hut and terrace being packed, food and drinks arrived quickly thanks to the large number of waitstaff and service personnel. The Kaiserschmarrn and Germknödel were first-rate. Highly recommended.
Very good food, and despite the busy times, the wait times were still acceptable. However, in South Tyrol, the macaroni seems to be made from penne.
I'm not sure where the good reviews come from... Staff are friendly, but the food is mediocre (I assume it's industrial kitchen). Our Wiener schnitzel and cordon bleu were decent, but the kaiserschmarrn and braised beef (geschmorte rindswangen) were not. The kaiserschmarrn were presented nicely with some fresh fruit, but the dough was starchy and not up to scratch. The beef especially was chewy, and looked and tasted like soup meat. However, we made a remark about the meat and staff responded very friendly. I think you're best off sticking to the obvious dishes here hamburger or schnitzel. The cheese platter at another table looked good too.
