The Service was quite excellent; friendly, bilingual staff, happy to help or explain details about dishes offered. The food was good, though it felt like the tomato based sauce of the masala butter chicken I had the pleasure to try may not have been cooked long enough, as it tasted a lot tangier than I would expect that dish to taste, based on my experience. Their shrimp soup and mango lasi were really really good though :
We were seated and given a window table. The server then brought us the cotton wool to drink. Soon after, a waitress came and picked up our cutlery. Our ordered appetizers and salad arrived, but then there was a long wait with nothing happening. There were only 4 other guests who had ordered before us, but it took over 30 minutes before our food was served. We were starting to wonder when our food would arrive. The steak was cooked well but the portion of rice with only two spoons was not enough. We had requested an extra bowl of rice at this restaurant previously and had to pay extra for it. The food was good but the portion of rice was too small, the service was average, and the long wait for the food brought down the overall rating.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, with authentic flavors and a variety of spiciness options. It's perfect for groups with both vegetarians and meat-eaters, as almost every dish can be customized to suit any preference.
I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant, enjoying a delicious house red wine and a sizzler mix with king shrimp, lamb, and chicken. The meal was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect, with candles flickering on the table.
