Vinoteket Lothar - Vaesteraas Sverige

I would not recommend this restaurant due to the slow service and highly inflated prices. It took over an hour to receive a poorly made pizza with under-fermented dough. Additionally, once the waitstaff cleared our table, we were unable to order anything else and were simply presented with the bill.

Amazing! My friend and I visited this restaurant several times, even trying the tasting menu twice. The food quality is excellent, and the selection of wine by the bottle and for the tasting menu is impressive. We still remember a couple of dishes from our visit two years ago to the vinoteket. Although our most recent visit didn't have as memorable dishes, it was still delicious. The service is top-notch, with smooth and humorous interactions with sommeliers and waitstaff. Even though I don't speak Swedish, they made our visit enjoyable. My only wish is for more options for wine by the glass.

The shared starters and desserts were amazing, and the pizza, as always, was incredible. We enjoyed the Shark Six and Roman Legacy dishes in our group. The portions were generous. The Cava and Merlot were very good, and the apple cider from Kivik in Sweden with Elderflower was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant with a 5 out of 5 rating.

Vinoteket is one of our favorite restaurants in Västerås. They offer superb bistro food, a wide selection of wines, and consistently excellent and personable service. A visit to Vinoteket is always a pure joy, so make sure not to miss it.

We went to this restaurant with our team for dinner. The waiter recommended the set course menu chosen by the Chef, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. We enjoyed some delicious local dishes paired with excellent wine options, making our evening even more memorable. While the restaurant is on the pricey side, it is definitely worth a visit for the lively and enjoyable experience.
