Restaurang Sunrise

I requested a vegan noodle dish at the restaurant, but was informed that they could make it, but it may not be as good. How lacking in skill must a chef be if they can't create a vegan dish? The tofu tasted old and seemed to have been reheated in the microwave.

The restaurant staff seemed unfamiliar with vegan options. They claimed they could modify a noodle dish to make it vegan, but when I requested it without oyster sauce, they refused. They offered four curries that could potentially be made vegan, but I was hesitant to trust that they would actually adhere to my dietary preferences.

There are a couple of vegan options available at this restaurant. I have only sampled the massaman curry with tofu a few times, and I must say it is delicious. The restaurant is small but has a welcoming staff. It's a great spot for a lunch outing.

I absolutely love the authentic Thai flavors at Nr 17,18! If you ask nicely, they can even make som tam for you.

The dining experience was average. Nothing particularly memorable about the food that stood out to us, so we can't comment on the service. However, the staff was helpful.
