First :... read more Now what you can expect about a date night in this place is to live a fake luxurious dinner with your beloved with cheap food and very expensive extras. First :some wines are the same you can find on a supermarket, not exclusive and not from organic or natural cellars there are plenty wineries in Italy,such a waste then after some Starters you will eat an handmade fresh style pasta heart shaped nothing special in my opinion for 500€ and a half lobster pasta. Some grilled meat OMG and a chocolate cake with old style decoration, something you should never see in 2017 and in a high level restaurant. All the locations is full of showy furniture nothing luxurious or antique but a lot of old cheap statues or faux flower arrangement. I’m so sorry for the owner but this place is not for free and couples deserve an EXCLUSIVE dinner service and even more to live a 5 stars experience. There are a lot of restaurants in Rome normally Inside 5 stars hotels with roof garden stunning view that can give you what you’re paying for. A good menu with fresh ingredients creative cuisine from the most important Michelini guide chefs and good excellent Italian wines. This small restaurant from the 90s should improve its quality and services. And the owner is far away from this kind of project. Not recommended.

Imagine flowers and candlelight, wine, liqueurs and champagne and impeccable service in the most classically romantic setting possible. This is the reality of Solo Per Due, and the experience does not disappoint. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and an experience we will never forget.

We were going to be in Rome in Septemb... read more I saw this restaurant in the World magazine billed as the smallest restaurant in the world- so of course I was intrigued. We were going to be in Rome in September so in March I requested a booking and luckily they had one of the nights free (book early! From beginning to end the experience was magical- I can not think of anything the charming owner could have done better. He himself is part of the charm- a very warm cute man who speaks no English but communicated in all the ways that were important. It was clear he cared and was going to make this a night to remember- and he exceeded beyond our wildest expectations. The food was very nice but not the best part to us- it was the whole EXPERIENCE which wowed us..being greeted by a candle lined sidewalk, champagne on arrival, enjoying the fire sitting in gorgeous red leather chairs, my husband selecting a cigar from their tray and enjoying on the terrace where we were served our appetizers..moving back into the fairy tale room for dinner and then back to the fireside for grappa and fruit...we were given a bell so we were the ones to pace the evening...so enjoyable and well worth the money. It is a must do! Do not miss this experience if you are in the area. It is over an hour drive Rome but again worth the ride!
