We accidentally arrived just before closing while trying to take advantage of the T-Mobile Tuesday promotion. One of us had some trouble ordering through the app, but the staff was remarkably patient. They went ahead and prepared our subs while we were still figuring things out. The level of service and friendliness was exceptional—definitely an A+! View all feedback.
What Chris Esposito doesn't like about Firehouse Subs Nut Tree Plaza:
If you're going to charge me nearly $15 for a medium sandwich, it really should be prepared correctly! The sandwich was drenched in mayo—no one needs that much mayo. It was nearly impossible to eat. I suggest you consider providing better training for your staff. View all feedback.
The service was lacking, with poor communication from the waitstaff, and the sandwich I received was extremely disappointing. That's why I’m giving this place a 2-star rating. Honestly, I’d have been better off buying a sandwich from a vending machine.
When I inquired about my sandwich, which I specifically requested to be cold instead of hot, the employee asked if I wanted both sandwiches cold. Since one was an Italian sub, I naturally said yes. To my surprise, he then informed me that all their sandwiches are served hot. This is something I believe should be mentioned when taking a phone order! We were hoping for a couple of good sub sandwiches, not hot ones. After 45 minutes of driving home with the sandwiches, I discovered that the bottom of the bread was soggy, while the rest of the bread was tough and dry. Overall, I was extremely disappointed, especially given the high prices for these sandwiches. I won't be returning again.
I, literally, have nothing to criticize about this sandwich place at the Nut Tree Plaza. The service: great. The Jamaican jerk turkey and steak and cheese sandwiches: messy but yummy. The fact that they donate proceeds from EVERY sandwich to local emergency responders: priceless. The fireman gear on the walls and the framed fire district patches give this place a friendly ambiance. Go dig into one of their hot subs today!
I love these subs!! Wish there were more locations closer to home but manage to stop on my way to/from home when I travel. I also love that they do alot for the first responder community! Fave sando is the turkey, I get extra toasted bread and add bacon.. so yummy!
It was quiet when I went In So service time was quick.place was also clean. I ordered tuna, I guess what they had already made was older so he made a new batch of tuna, iwas happy for that. Will definitely be visiting again.
