I've been going to this restaurant with some regularity since it opened at this location I think about 20 years ago. I have enjoyed each of the hundreds of meals I've had here and I've never once been disappointed. The food is prepared with quality ingredients by people who are skilled at making fine meals. With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from Favela's really stands out in value and quality. My favorites a... View all feedback.
What Ivru1455 doesn't like about Favela's Mexican:
I've never had this bad of burrito in my life. I ordered a regular Carnitas and after taking my first bite the Carnitas were in big chunks, not shredded and very dry like its been on the heating tray to long that it dried up. There no comparison with Taqueria at San Francisco Mission street, real good Mexican food. Not coming back to this place. View all feedback.
Worst burrito I ever had so much rice and beans. Where’s the meat at? On top of it I can’t stand a burrito that unfolds. Tighten up or I’ll never come here again. Horchata was really good though
Love the chicken and cheese enchiladas. The red sauce had just the right flavor. Generous portions. Great cafe to enjoy Mexican favorites.
This is a good old fashioned delicious burrito! The chile Colorado was fresh and hot. The beans were flavorful and delicious. Beautiful authentic decorations and wonderful service.
Always friendly N good food. Prices could be better.
Last minute lunch today and we stopped by, the place is beautiful and the workers were kind. The food was delicious after a long day. Only thing is we didn’t get tortillas with our plates, would’ve been nice to eat my beans and rice with it, and the rice was kinda dry. Salsa wasn’t too spicy, it balanced nicely, the guacamole that came with the quesadilla was delicious too. The shredded beef(carnitas, I think) in my tacos was the best part. I would recommend going in after a day of shopping.
