What Stephanie L doesn't like about El Azteca:
Food is ok. There's so many other Mexican restaurants in the area that are better. I've also received the wrong order too many times with meh tasting food. I keep trying...I won't return. Try all the other spots in the area, cheaper and tastes way better. Taco Bell tastes better. I ordered 2 asada street tacos and an asada tostada. They got the tostada right and gave me two different types of meat tacos and soft ones... View all feedback.
We have been coming here for years, I love the remodel they did a while back, everything is clean and bright. I tried the fajitas today which I've never had... I also asked the server about the mole sauce... she said it was really good and so I figured maybe I'd try it next time.. the next thing I know she brings out a small bowl with the mole for me to try after I had already ordered the fajitas... which was super kind because she knew I wasn't ordering it today but still wanted me to know how it was. The fajitas were good, the steak was seasoned well, the grilled veggies delicious and the guacamole was tasty. The price was also super reasonable.. over all a really pleasant experience.
I have dined at this restaurant multiple times. The service is always reliable. I recently tried their call-in order service and my meal was prepared on time. I enjoy coming here when I am very hungry because their food is filling. One meal can keep me satisfied for most of the day.
I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! The rice and beans are delicious! The service is quick, which is great when I'm in town for work. The interior is always cozy and clean.
In one word: delicious! The restaurant is clean and inviting, with fast and friendly service. I originally wanted rice and beans but decided to try the Veggie super burrito instead (which can be easily made vegan by removing sour cream and cheese). I asked for it to be deep fried like a chimichanga, and it came out quickly. The burrito was filled with mushrooms, zucchini, onion, bell pepper, tomato, beans, rice, and delicious flavor. I was so eager to eat it that I forgot to take a picture. This might become my go-to spot for Mexican food in Vacaville.
