However... read more El Cingle is a restaurant located in the little village of Vacarisses, near Terrassa. It had a michelin star, but some years ago the restaurant lost it. However, the quality of the dishes we tasted here were great! We did the gastronomic menu, which had 2 starters, 7 dishes and 2 deserts. It have been the first gastronomic restaurant, in which I almost could not finish the last dessert! The menu has a lot of quality and also a lot of quantity! and the rate quality-quantity/price is excellent. The best dishes for me was the galician octopus, the cannelloni and the meat (incredibles all! , but the other dishes were very good, too. Moreover, we tasted a very good white wine and a red one too. Very recommendable if you want to go to a fantastic restaurant located outside Barcelona, but no so far.

I found out about the restaurant in an article in Conde Nast Traveller and booked a meal for my partners Birthday. When we arrived in a small village square El Cingle is tucked away in the corner and doesnt look much but upon entering it opens up into a beautiful dining room with amazing views and you get that warm feeling that its going to be a good night. My partner and i were not disapointed with an amazing tasteing menu. Ive eaten in lots of michelin starred restaurants and El Cingle is up there with them. Strongly recommended if you love your food.
