Went for Sunday lunch , the terrace was not open . Very casual sitting in front of resturant. Waiter said salad was large so would not need starter, it was " pretty " rather than large or indeed very interesting . The one small piece of melon and ham was the most engaging part of the plate . After a visit to the village, the patron saint with her Italian accent put the water to the mouth to convince us to enter the place. I find it regrettable that the slate has awakened us taste buds and that once badly installed on camping chairs, and on a table unappeared, we could not find satisfaction for a menu at 46,50€ the flavor-free entry ( compressed from eggplant and poischiche null ) dish insipid ( dorade net with 3 vegetables that run after , or tagged cake with dessert
Finally a gourmet restaurant where the chef is a great enthusiast! We received a warm welcome, and we were left torn by the romantic setting of the terrace. a sunset on one of the most beautiful monuments of uzès. I'd like to come back to the wine, trust the hotel master, he has a wine that was perfectly blended with the risotto in the seiche ink. For the kitchen, we took in, dishes, dessert. we were transported to taste buds, tastes are perfectly adjusted. an address that wins to be known in the region!
First there is the enchanting setting of the terrace facing the beautiful facades of uzès illuminated by the sunset. Then there is the warm and professional welcome of the hotel master, master of the Ceremonies. The map is interesting but I can't find out if it was the chef who was in a less good day or I... successful entrance and dessert, dish (a siche ink risotto) that I found without precision and rather fade. I can't judge the chief and his card on a single dish. Go ahead and make a second opinion. The wine list is non-existent but all wines are produced in uzès and the suggestion of our host to 28 euros, duchy of the lys estate near uzès, both judicious and delicious.Break it is necessary to go.
Passsage to uzès, we discovered the restaurant the two olive trees. a young couple of Italians have taken over this pleasant restaurant, well decorated and enjoying a beautiful terrace. the room manager, professional and mastering products and wines, we advised and we did not regret. local products are remarkably well cooked and the Italian touch of the chef brings an additional note. excellent quality/price ratio. table to be discovered absolutely.
A welcoming of the most touching, delicate attentions very appreciated and this happiness to taste good ingredients prepared with care and originality: this is what to do with an evening, the time of a dinner, an exceptional trip. the frame is sumptuous and gives you a real disbursement! Don't look anymore, reserve!
